2-Year Accredited Institution Scholarship

This scholarship is for those graduating seniors of the Poway Unified School District who will be going on to an accredited educational institution that provides up to two years of college-level academic, technical, and vocational instruction with emphasis on career preparation. Scholarships in the amount of $400 will be awarded.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Must be a senior at one of the Poway Unified School District High Schools.
  2. Must be planning to continue post-high school education in the fall of 2011. Scholarship money will be distributed after the committee has received documentation of fall registration at a 2-year college or other accredited educational institution.
  3. This application must be completed and postmarked by Wednesday, April 18, 2012. No exceptions.

Rules:

  1. The questions may be answered on a separate piece of paper. Please type your answers and send an electronic copy to Heather Dugdale. The answers may be typed or written (legibly) if a computer is not accessible.
  2. Please limit your answers to each question to no more than 8 sentences. Applications not adhering to this limit will be disqualified.
  3. In addition to an electronic application, you must mail a postmarked hard copy of your application and additional page of answers (if needed) by Wednesday, April 18, 2012 to:
