This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Jessica Romag, a Poway High School alumnus, who was killed in an auto accident in 2004. Jessica valued her faith, family and friends and participated in leadership activities, church groups and sports with great enthusiasm. She was an excellent student with a sparkling personality, great sense of humor, and kind spirit. The Palomar Council PTA is proud to sponsor this scholarship in the memory of Jessica, who had just completed her junior year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before her untimely death.

 

Scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded.

 

Qualifications:

1. Must be a senior at one of the Poway Unified School District High Schools.
2. Must be planning to attend a 4-year college in the fall of 2011. Scholarship money will be distributed after the committee has received documentation of fall registration at a 4-year college.
3. This application must be completed, mailed and postmarked by the Wednesday, April 18, 2012. No exceptions.

Rules:

1. The questions may be answered on a separate piece of paper. Please type your answers and send an electronic copy to Heather Dugdale. The answers may be written (legibly) if a computer is not accessible.
2. Please limit your answers to each question to no more than 8 sentences. Applications not adhering to this limit will be disqualified.
3. In addition to an electronic application, you must mail a postmarked hard copy of your application and additional page of answers (if needed) by Wednesday, April 18, 2012 to:
