Jessica Leigh Romag Her infectious smile and laugh lit up every room she entered.  She touched so many people and lived life to its fullest, never afraid to take chances.  She valued her faith, her family and her friends.  She had great leadership skills beginning with 5th grade class president, continuing in ASB through middle school, class treasurer for 3 years in high school, and ASB Executive Council Treasurer during her final year of high school.  She was a member of the National Honor Society.  She was active in her church youth group in high school and was a CCD aide.  She also loved to perform from the lead in the 5th grade musical to Airband throughout middle school and high school.  She had great school spirit and loved the class competitions and was always trying to get others involved.  Soccer was Jessica’s favorite sport, playing it from the age of 6 all the way through high school.  She also ran cross country and track for 2 years in high school.  She put so much energy into everything she pursued.  She was a business major at Cal Poly with an emphasis in accounting and finance and continued in a leadership position as Treasurer of the Panhellenic Executive Board.  She was in the Alpha Phi sorority.  An excerpt from her college entrance essay reads, “So many experiences in my life have been its own separate ‘dance’ or stepping stone, molding me into the unique individual that I am proud to be.  I have gained something from each risk that I’ve taken and have never settled for the path of least resistance.  I have been able to look at the positive side of a tough experience and learn that there are more important things in life.  When given the choice to sit it out or dance, I’ve always danced.”
